At a time when some traditional tourism trends are in decline, sport tourism continues to flourish and is set to grow exponentially in the next decade. Experts predict that sport tourism will account for an impressive 14% of the overall travel and tourism industry in 2010.20,000 visitors are expected to attend WSDE as the sport tourism industry congregates in Johannesburg ahead of the final match of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. With 10,000 sqm of exhibition space, the landmark 5-day expo promises to be the most important sport tourism event ever staged. Source = e-Travel Blackboard: C.Flast_img read more
