Updated:There is extensive damage after an early morning fire in a church in St. Catharines.Firefighters were called to Carleton United Church on Carleton Street near Bunting Road just after 3 a.m.They found flames coming through the roof.The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.  The Ontario Fire Marshal has been advised of the fire.A Facebook page for Carleton United Church says it closed in June.  The building is currently for sale.Damage is estimated to be at least $250,000.
